FAQ

Care of the pottery

I use matte glazes and stoneware for my pots. My pottery is handmade and more delicate than industrial made pottery. Therefore, I recommend washing them by hand in order to preserve them. However, I’ve been using and dishwashing my own pottery for many years with very few issues.

Matte glazes may stain over time due to prolonged contact with stainy ingredients such as turmeric, beets etc. Unglazed surfaces can be cleaned by scrubbing with paste made of baking soda and water.

Similarity in a set of pots

The ceramic process I use is manual, therefore each pot is unique, treated separately. As a result, there may be minor differences between the actual pots and the measurements indicated in the shop. That is part of the beauty of handmade items.

Preparing an order

Ordered items that are not in stock take between 3-5 weeks to be ready to ship due to the creation process and the different phases the pots undergo. Thank you all for giving me time to do my work. I want the whole making process to be as ethical as possible with the most attention to the process, the details and customer's expectations!
